Starved Rock Rocks

Cathi, Mary and I spent a day at Starved Rock. It was one of those days that had low expectations and turned out to be a wonderful day. We spent the day exploring the park and came away completly awed by the landscape. We walked the many trails and hiked up the well marked paths to areas uncommon to the expected Illinois scene. Part of the joy was hidden in the fact that we were togther. Spending time as a family with no expectations and unconditional accpetance and love. We learned a lot and know more today than yesterday. We are better people for it.
